CP+ 2.x Documentation Admin Guide

Bootups and Shutdowns

The Bootup and Shutdown module controls the system initialization scripts. Being the CP+ admin allows you to manage existing initialization scripts, add new initialization scripts, and edit old initialization scripts. Usually, each init script provides functions to start, stop, and restart system services such as Sendmail, named, and Apache, as well as perform basic system initializations such as setting up network devices and routing tables.

To manage bootups and shutdowns:

  1. Log into CP+ at http://cpplus_host:10000/ as admin and with your server root password.
  2. Choose the System Administration CP+ mode.
