Disk Quotas
Depending on Disk Quotas Access Configuration CP+ users can:
* to access the below options, click the the Disk Quotas icon on the Home/System Configuration section.
- edit Disk Quotas module config
- edit Disk Quotas for defined filesystems
- enable/disable disk quotas
- configure disk quotas for new users
- edit user grace times
- view statistics on filesystem disk space
- edit disk quotas for existing users
To edit Disk Quotas module config:
1. Click the System Administration CP+ mode.
2. On the page that shows click the Disk Quota icon.
3. Click the Module Config link at the top of the disk quotas index page.
4. You'll be taken to the Disk Quotas config page. The form offers the following options:
- Maximum number of users or groups to display:
exceeding the limit defined hides the table listing filesystem users/groups with disk quotas.
- Sort users and groups by:
define whether users/groups with disk quota in the filesystem table will be listed in descendig order
by Blocks used, Name or as "repquota" command lists them in the console.
- Show quotas in: define whether the disk quota usage will be displayed in kilobytes or blocks.
- System configuration: edit individual commands to be executed on
performing any operations available through a CP+ graphical interface
Make sure to click Save to preserve changes.
To edit Disk Quotas for defined filesystem:
Click the filesystem link on the Disk Quotas index page:

* if the link is disabled, click the Enable Quotas.
To enable/disable disk quotas:
Toggle the Enable/Disable Quotas link in the Action column in the filesytem entry.
* the Enable Quotas link isn't displayed if
Disk Quotas Access Configuration for your Disk Quota module is configured to prohibit enabling/disabling disk quotas.
To configure disk quotas for new users:
1. Click the filesystem link on the Disk Quotas index page.
2. In the New User Quotas table set
Soft/Hard Block Limit and Soft/Hard File Limit for new unix users created on this filesystem.
To edit user grace times:
Click the the Edit Grace Times button below the All User Quotas table.
In the form you are taken to set for how long users are allowed
to exceed their soft limit before they can't use any more disk space,
within the hard limit.
To view statistics on filesystem disk space
1. Click the filesystem link on the Disk Quotas index page.
2. Statistics on disk space usage is displayed in the header of the All User Quotas table
for this filesystem and reports of its current state both in kilobytes and files:
- total: size of the filesystem
- free: unused disk space
- granted: total of all users' hard limits.
* statistics on disk space usage isn't displayed if
Disk Quotas Access Configuration for your Disk Quota module is configured to hide it.
To edit disk quotas for existing users:
1. Click the filesystem link on the Disk Quotas index page.
2. On the Filesystem Quota page click the username from the All User Quotas table.

* If there are too many users with quotas on on this filesytem to display them on one page, click
the "..." button next to the Edit quota for button and choose the user
from the list that opens in a separate window.
