Prevent Paint Bridging With Picks
Dental picks are a handy tool for removing paint that pools in the gap between a cabinet-door panel and the stiles and rails.
As soon as I finish spraying a cabinet door, I use dental picks to remove any paint that’s bridging the gap between a door panel and the stiles and rails. Spotty paint bridging is noticeable and results in a final product that looks unprofessional. And it’s a lot easier and cleaner to clear out the paint when it’s still wet. These handy little tools can be had online for a couple bucks each.
